Job Description
Manage Marine Service matters for Southeast Asia markets, enhance service standards and implement 3S Policy together with Unit Sales and Parts. Provide quick response to market and serve as linking bridge between YMC HQ and market.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist superiors to achieve set objectives.
- Liaise and communicate regularly with Distributors, Yamaha Motor Distribution Singapore Pte Ltd (YDS) dealers and Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (YMC). Make monthly reports to superior and YMC.
- Strengthen Service Network. (3S and Service Standard)
- Continual education and training for distributors/dealers
- Support distributors in their service activities including onsite field service
- Support workshop setup
- Assist and follow up distributors’ product registration status
- Technical support for Distributors and YDS Dealers
- Support distributors and YDS dealers for technical inquiries
- MI (Market Information) processing
- Prepare & issue Technical Bulletin for YDS dealers
- Manage product registration & warranty administration
- Management of distributors’ & YDS dealers product registration
- Warranty administration for YDS dealers
- Any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by superiors
Job Requirements
- Diploma/ITC in Automotive/Mechanical/Marine engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years Technical Service in Automotive/Marine Engineering
- PC literacy
- Proficient in MS Office skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (to communicate with overseas customers)
- Resourceful team player and yet able to work independently
- Able to travel and passion in marine industry
