Roles and Responsibilities:
Support the Director, Research and Manager, Research to oversee and implement the research programmes and initiatives of the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and the Oral Health Academic Clinical Program (ORH ACP) in the following areas:
Grant management
- Support grant applications and manage research grants awarded to NDCS
- Maintain the research dashboard on grant matters
- Compile and gather research metrics from clinicians and researchers
- Facilitate key performance indicators tracking
- Draft progress reports
- Support and manage the Grant Finance System and Procurement System
- Monitor grant budget and utilization
- Handle grant variation matters
- Handle procurement matters e.g. Invitation to Quote (ITQ), Waiver of competition (WOC)
Research operations and support
- Formulate, maintain and implement research-related policies and standard operating procedures
- Correspond with IT to troubleshoot system-related issues
- Correspond with relevant research agencies/personnel and other stakeholders
- Handle incident reporting for lab-related incidents
- Lab safety and point of contact for lab audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or other related field with preferably at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
- Experience with grant management is preferred.
- Experience with budget preparation and KPls reporting to agencies would be advantageous.
- Meticulous and responsive with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Able to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
