Job Description:
- To consistently follow policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with workplace safety, GMP, GLP, etc
- To perform all testing in accordance with Laboratory standard operating procedure (SOPs)
- To handle, store, prepare and dispose chemical properly.
- To receive, label and prepare samples to be tested.
- To determine and perform tests needed for the analysis and report.
- To record and report the results accurately on worksheet and system.
- To participate in proficiency testing program and ring trials and maintain the z score within +/-2
- To organize and store samples neatly and systematically in the laboratory and retention room
- To carry out calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- To conduct in-house and external sampling of raw material and finished product as and when required.
- To maintain chemical inventory and equipment records.
- To ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area.
- To perform other functions as delegated by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum O level/Diploma in Science discipline (preferably in Chemistry)
- 2 years' laboratory experience
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft office
