Purpose of Role
Recommend and drive a vision and strategy for Hasbro within the Wizards of the Coast SEA business in line with One Hasbro strategy and in line with Global Hasbro guidelines and the Code of Conduct
You will be responsible for targeting new opportunities within your territory. You will be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record for selling in the business-to-business arena. You’ll have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand the client’s issues, and match and apply the benefits in your solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally and externally, in different locations across the world so strong networking and organization skills as well as an understanding of corporate purchasing dynamics are a must.
Control major functions relating to the operation and administration of the organisation through local and regional management teams.
Explore and initiate business opportunities for Hasbro looking ways to unlock further sustainable growth initiatives.
Deliver agreed budgets on quarterly and annual basis, driving accelerated growth and delivery of agreed financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Drive profitable growth through leading, inspiring, and motivating teams across SEA to further grow Sales, Ecommerce, Distributor and Key Account Channel and develop emerging Channel opportunities driving excellence in retail execution aligned with brand plans.
• Develop and implement policies and strategies toward the overall achievement of short-term and long-term business objectives based on short- and long-term needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities in the market.
• Budget setting in line with corporate guidelines and management of objectives and results against budget and stretch targets.
• Implement with excellence relevant global and regional lobal strategies for brand, customer, shopper and consumer.
• Understand competitor landscape foreseeing trading challenges and opportunities, flexing plans to drive strong business outcomes.
• Lead, guide and support current and future Hasbro’s Retail Partners to ensure consistent and strong execution of brand strategy, product assortment planograms, merchandising mix and roll-out plan working collaboratively to promote, seek out and develop business opportunities.
• Responsible in submitting regular forecasts and quarterly business reviews for approval.
• Seek high standards and continuous improvement in back-office functions.
• Interprets organisation/corporate policy as it affects the business to ensure that all policies are adhered to.
• Ensure all Hasbro activities are legal and compliant with applicable local and US Corporate laws, as well as following Hasbro’s Code of Conduct.
• Coach and develop talents to their fullest potential; leveraging strengths and building long term competencies to meet future business plans.
• End to end management of the P&L with a focus on delivering continuous improvement in profit via agile decision making and interventions to control all manner of costs, optimize investments to deliver planned revenue growth and improve margins.
• Balancing risks and opportunities effectively through the year by ensuring that the team is focus on exploring new opportunities for growth and share gain.
• Responsible for controls and compliance and ensuring that all decisions are made in line with the Hasbro Code of Conduct and standards.
• Motivating, driving and managing the team to deliver outcomes ahead of expectations by creating an open, transparent culture rooted in Hasbro values.
• Owning the talent development, engagement and succession planning agenda and creating the conditions for the team to succeed and thrive.
• Ensure compliance aligned with Sarbanes Oxley reporting requirements.
Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience/ Qualification requirements:
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Managerial experience / Leadership capabilities:
- Min 10 years post qualification consumer products experience or functional management with profit & loss responsibility and broad cross-functional exposure.
- 10 years of sales and marketing background with strong exposure to brand building and eCommerce/digital sectors development, preferably within Southeast Asia.
- Min. 3 years of people management and leadership experience
- Preferable experience in large business thinking in commercial roles or have been part of building and growing a business as a member of the management team.
- Drives changes and results through agility mindset and influential leadership skills.
- Focused on high-performance team building and instilling common goals: strong motivator – firm but fair.
- Strong people orientation and good skills in the coaching, training, management, delegation and motivation of people
Local Retail environment / Industry knowledge:
- Broad experience in high profile global discretionary consumer brands (e.g. Gaming/Entertainment/T&G/FMCG/lifestyle/fashion/sports) distributed to key global, national and independent retail organisations in a competitive dynamic market.
- Proven ability to flexibly manage multiple and diverse products in developing environments in a different and creative way.
- Strong consumer insights with ability to define the route to market strategy.
- Extensive experience in Ecommerce sales and digital/performance marketing preferred.

- Prepares and presents comprehensive business review packages including budgets.
