Your Role
As a Solution Architect, you are expected to demonstrate professional knowledge and behaviour on assignments, taking care of customers and activities with important attention to the team aspect or at the lead expert level, taking the lead in customer and internal engagements that fall within your field of expertise, recognized and appreciated by customers and within delaware.
Your Responsibilities
a. Evaluate all business requirements and provide SAP solutions and an integrated approach for SAP customers.
b. Provide technical consultation to customers through understanding customers’ requirements and recommending the most suitable solutions and services.
c. Engage vendors for support and solutions.
d. Design Technical and Solution Architecture.
e. Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients, with technical and architecture design, configuration, and customisation of SAP products.
f. Consult project teams and consultants developing products/services to gain in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers – and to let them in on user behaviour and/or any potential changes clients would like.
g. Conduct research into the industry – including competitor research, providing advice on SAP functionality, organisational change, and other advisory services.
About you
Your Knowledge, Skills, and Qualification
a. Knowledge in SAP products and projects and architectural solutions.
b. Have a good understanding of SAP best practices and best fit.
c. Tertiary qualifications - advantageous to be in IT but not essential.
d. Excellent communication and writing skills.
e. Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
f. Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to customers.
g. Ability to identify requirements and develop use cases in SAP’s ERP based on customer needs.
h. Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
i. Understanding and proficient in IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure will be advantageous.
Your Experience
a. Solution architecture and/or project requirements in SAP, dealing with vendors and external stakeholders.
b. Worked in multiple industries and across multiple workstreams to ensure aligned solutions.
c. Functional Experience in multiple SAP modules, such as Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) and Manufacturing (PP/DM) is preferred.
d. Implementing full project lifecycle in SAP architectural design, SAPS/4 HANA migration and upgrade, BASIS, and Performance testing is an added advantage.
