Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with credit approvals, Credit/Legal documentation policy, and department procedures for facility and security documentation.
- Reviewing routine facility documentation for both existing and new facilities.
- Managing security and documentation associated with the credit portfolio.
- Preparing periodic and MI reports for the department.
- Performing checker and maker tasks as needed, and assuming a joint custodian role when nominated.
- Adhering to processes and procedures, escalating risks/issues for timely resolution.
- Improving the quality and timeliness of credit application forms.
- Making clear recommendations to credit committees and ensuring timely submission of credit proposals.
- Offering consultation on credit application forms adequacy and compliance.
- Maintaining independence in the second line of defense while supporting the first line in underwriting credit transactions.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, or Business Administration with a strong foundation in analytical and quantitative techniques.
- 7 years of banking experience with a significant portion in Credit functions across various products, markets, and business types.
- Experience in credit admin or a similar function with large regional or global financial institutions.
