Responsibilities
- Perform simple QS function to analyze cost comparison, prepare budget, evaluate and recommend on the award of Sub-contractors / vendors & implement cost control monitoring;
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off if necessary;
- Prepare Variation Orders, evaluate, recommend & settlement of sub-contractor / vendors’ payments claims & final accounts,
- Sourcing and negotiations with reliable and reputable vendors / suppliers;
- Prepare and Issue purchase orders / Work Orders/ Letter of Award in timely manner.
- Ensure the term contracts are to be renewed and bulk tender are called in timely manner;
- Manage daily procurement and contract requirements, maintain, monitor and update the procurement database / costing with budget;
- Perform prequalification of potential contractors, prepare tender documents, inviting and evaluating tenders, issuance of and award of tender;
- Work closely with the Property Management department on the procurement of goods and services required;
- Liaise closely with Finance for the monthly closing;
- Work closely with the team and relevant business partners to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
- Assist Management in all contractual and costing matters
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surveying / procurement or supply chain management or equivalent;
- Minimum 2-3 years of related working experience;
- Meticulous and good interpersonal skill;
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision
- Self-motivated
