I am hiring for my client, a global quant trading firm, they are looking for a candidate with financial industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the research team to build the trading system and research infrastructure.
- Manage the software delivery lifecycle.
- Build connectivity to internal data and execution platforms.
- Develop data pipelines, research, and post-trading analytics tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Fluency in Python 3 and familiarity with pandas.
- Familiarity with version control and software delivery lifecycle.
- Familiarity with deployment and process control (Docker, K8s, Jenkins, Airflow).
- Familiarity in SQL and Timeseries Databasing (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging (ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Proficiency with the Linux environment, with some sys-admin experience.
- Real project experience in deploying Time Series or Machine Learning systems (e.g. Tensorflow, MLFlow) is a plus.
