Job scope:
- Develop warehouse automation strategy aligned with Supply Chain goals
- Select automation technologies within budget to optimize operations.
- Lead seamless automation implementation across multiple warehouses, addressing risks and ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with various departments to align automation solutions with business objectives and ensure compliance with standards and safety protocols.
- Establish metrics and KPIs for automated systems, monitor operations, and implement improvements for efficiency.
- Stay updated on warehouse automation trends, fostering innovation and exploring enhancement opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with warehouse automation technologies, including robotics, conveyor systems, WMS, and IoT devices.
- Expertise in implementing, maintaining, or optimizing automation systems within warehouse environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse automation technologies and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and ROI calculations for automation investments.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management for automation solutions.
