Join us in Furama RiverFront, Singapore as a Housekeeping Manager! The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the general operation, cleanliness and maintenance of all areas under the Housekeeping Department. He/She is to take the lead in driving new departmental initiatives such as technological innovations and process improvements. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Job Description:
· Inspect all public areas and staff locker rooms and supervise inspections of all areas in a frequent and unvarying schedule. Pay particular attention to the presence of odors, insects, termites or vermin.
· Daily check on the quality of the cleaning in guest floors/outlets/function rooms with particular attention to suites, VIP rooms and show rooms. Weekly inspection with Duty Engineer for all public areas.
· Supervise all the staff in their works and resolve any problems encountered expeditiously.
· Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all areas under the care.
· Supervise and prepare the issue of maintenance work request and maintain a follow up file to ensure that all maintenance work requests are completed.
· Inform the Executive Housekeeper daily and adequately of any and new development pertaining to order and requisitions involving replacement and change of cleaning equipment.
Job Requirements:
· Knowledge of the guest services and Housekeeping operation in the Hotel.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Housekeeping supervisory role in high-volume operations
· Strong communication, decision-making, organization and leadership skills
· Computer literate and good knowledge of property specific applications
