The Role
- Deliver volume forecast, key forecast changes and risks & opportunities for the business
- Monitor KPIs and perform root cause analysis
- Overall ownership and accountability for the business volume forecast process
- Develop and drive action plans to improve forecast accuracy and build sustainable demand planning capability (people, process, and system)
- Build bench strength within the team
- Lead and provide direction to a team of Demand Planning executive on resolving Demand planning related and allocation
- Manage introduction of new products, new supply chain and new initiative forecast.
- Work with regional and local commercial /marketing team to incorporate SEA category development into the overall initiative design and ensure initiative readiness
- Develop phase-in and phase-out strategy working with commercial team, and define clearance plan with commercial team
- Provide insights on safety stock factor adjustment based on the demand variability
About You
- Degree holder in Business related preferably majoring in Supply Chain, Logistics Management
- Minimum 5 - 10 years work experience in similar capacity
- Advanced level in MS Excel and other MS office applications
- Strong analytical capability, good negotiation and planning skill
- Good understanding on data and how that leads to impact decisions
- Possess good understanding of supply chain concepts, statistical forecasting and related processes
- Understands DC operational routines
- Strong in Project Management (will be involved in Projects)
- Experience in managing suppliers
