WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN
Background
Framo Singapore Pte Ltd was established in 1982 and is a subsidiary branch office of Framo AS which is a Norwegian based company and market leader in the manufacture of high-tech pumping systems for the chemical/product tanker market and oil & gas industry. Framo AS is a part of the Alfa Laval concern.
Framo Singapore Pte Ltd deals with the aftersales service, commissioning, repairs and inspections of these pumping systems as well as customer follow up and support.
Working place will be at our premises in Tuas.
Duties
General workshop duties as assigned by the Workshop supervisor which may include:
- Assist with mechanical equipment repairs, overhaul & maintenance.
- Assist with other ongoing projects/jobs as and when required depending on need.
- Maintenance of workshop equipment
- General housekeeping and 5S duties.
Qualifications
- Previous work within a workshop environment (at least 5-years preferred).
- Mechanical competence.
- Good command of English both verbally and written.
- Basic computer skills.
Requirements
- Work flexible hours on occasions.
- Can work both independently and as a team.
- National service (if applicable) to be completed.
- Physically fit.
