Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Singapore. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within specified deadlines and budget constraints for our regional projects in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors, to gather requirements and expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and support.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to enhance productivity.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure project success.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, making adjustments as needed.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of IT solutions.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
- Ensure proper documentation of all project phases for future reference.
Change Management:
- Manage and communicate changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Evaluate and implement change requests in alignment with project goals.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management and/or product management in international market.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin as you need to work closely with Chinese counterparts and liaise with customers from China, Hongkong and Taiwan.
