Job Description:
- Responsible for reviewing and understanding requirements and translating them into high-level and low-level documentation including source to target mapping
- Supporting Data warehouse, ETL, BI and Big Data Application Systems. The team is responsible for the production stability of these applications and ensuring on going improvements in system availability, supportability & service levels over time
- Responsible for build of data mappings, sessions and workflows to meet requirements.
- Responsible for development of job schedules that integrate the upstream and downstream systems (e.g. Control-M)
- Responsible for unit testing, debugging, and performance testing, with key focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Work with production support teams as required to support production activities, including production migrations, continuity testing, environment migration activities
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines.
- Min 4 years of experience in application development and support environment in ETL, Data warehouse, and business intelligence
- Individual musthave working experience in ETL, Data warehouse and various business intelligence tools on Unix/Windows platforms.
- Experiences in Teradata, Big Data using Cloudera (CDH 5.8 or above), Hive, Impala, HDFS, YARN, Sqoop, Oozie, Hbase, kafka, Map Reduce/Spark are good advantageous
