Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and reviewing day-to-day financial operations within the company
- Responsible for period end closing process and ensure all journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules to its control accounts including bank reconciliations
- Able to lead and provide guidance to a team members to meet reporting deadlines
- Monitor and manage the organisation cash flow, ensuring there are adequate funds to support operations and capital projects.
- Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Prepare financial reports related to budgets and actual in preparation of quarterly finance review.
- Liaising with external party such as bank, and auditors.
- Monitor and review schedules for the interim and year-end audit
- Other assignment as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holder
- At least 3 years of accounting full function experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software
- Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Multi-tasking and leadership abilities
- Good interpersonal skills and communicate with all levels in the organization and stakeholders in both verbal and written English.
