As a Project Engineer with us, you will be working on and managing projects assigned to you.
Responsibilities:
· Being involved in all stages and function as key person for project execution for small-scale projects
· Be able to configure the AV Systems for the projects assigned
· Hardware and software installation, minor racking may be required at times
· Review and understand statement of works, drawings and schematics, to determine time to deliver and resource planning and management for the project period
· Responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project
· Function as the focal point for internal and external project communication and documentation
· Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner and other trades as required
· Responsible for effective communication with customer including change orders and delivery, project status, etc., as required
· Provide regular updates, reports and supporting documents on projects to stakeholders (internal and external)
· Attend meetings on-site, via scheduled calls as required
· Attend site surveys with the Sales team, if needed
· Play a supportive role in other projects during lull period
· Provide user training, if required
· Project documentations
The Pre-Requisites:
· Preferably at least two years of experience in the operation, engineering and / or installation of AV systems. A strong knowledge of audio, video and networking engineering fundamentals
· Understand AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques
· Understand technical and construction documents
· Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups
· Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills leading to successful completion of a project by a specific due date
· Any industry certification will be an advantage
· Positive attitude and incredible work ethics
· Team player and can work independently
· Drive to exceed expectations and in delivering excellence.
· Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations
