Job Responsibilities:
- Perform site survey and propose the appropriate mix of products and installation methods to provide the most cost-effective solution.
- Identify Building management system replacement jobs to meet project requirements.
- Plan, handle testing, commissioning, software programming and supervision on site for BMS on project plan, specifications, and contract documents.
- Development of program and graphics design for Building Automation projects
- Analyse, inspects, and reviews implementation problems to meet customer demands.
- Feedback to development teams on product implementation and support issues for product improvement.
- Participate in product development and marketing workshops for enhancing business opportunities and growth.
- Create and maintain BMS documentation including Functional design and Software Test Documents.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial System Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in BMS, open bus protocol, control engineering, etc.
- Understanding of HVAC, Building Automation, Energy Management, or other control systems.
- Programming and troubleshooting knowledge of industry standard protocols such as BACnet, MODBUS and LON. PLC knowledge will be a plus.
- Ability to analyse building or industrial services plant and chilled-water plant operational data.
- Experience in automation control systems in various applications, including commercial buildings, industrial buildings, data centre, etc.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and debugging live software systems.
- Strong technical implementation and management skills and able to apply both business and technical insights to the project assignment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for customer interaction and report writing.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
