Job Description
The role supports the alumni engagement efforts to strengthen and maintain relationships between the School and its alumni community. He/she will be responsible for coordinating and organising meaningful alumni initiatives to enhance alumni participation and support. This role involves creating outreach programmes and fostering collaborations to nurture a mutually beneficial relationship between the alumni community and NUS Business School.
- Identify, cultivate and strategic partnerships with alumni, corporations and other entities to support the department goals and objectives of the School
- Initiate engagement plans, activities and programmes for alumni/student relationship building
- Develop and implement outreach activities that provide opportunities for alumni to connect, network and engage with the School
- Coordinate with alumni associations and external partners to leverage on partnership to maximise impact
- Develop programmes to facilitate the transition of graduates into engaged alumni through the various student clubs
- Project coordination of all flagship events by the BIZAlum Office
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, with at least 5-8 years of working experience
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for collaboration
- Previous experience in alumni relations, partnership development, communications will be advantageous
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A dynamic individual who can build and maintain strong relationships, identity partnership and development opportunities
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, due to frequent liaising with Chinese-speaking alumni
- Comfortable and be visible in all communication and social media channels; be able to solicit or create impactful content for postings to such channels. Strong affinity with Wechat, Facebook, LinkedIn and other market trending social media channels.
