RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the design timeline and make sure the work is completed in compliance with the contract and laws.
- Examine, evaluate, look into, and create the design. Create technical documentation and guidelines in accordance with the specified budget,
- As new designs and products are being developed, prepare engineering documents (technical specifications, calculations, drawings, etc.).
- Create new drawings, revisions to existing drawings, parts lists, and change orders.
- Analyze the effects of the arrangement and illustrations.
- In collaboration with the Ship Design Authority, plan and coordinate any necessary design modifications.
- Using specified test protocols from the technical database, test and validate the technical interfaces for the work completed.
- Communicate with the Ship Design Authority and ship owners to get their approval for the engineering deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1-2 years experience in Electrical Design Engineering or Naval Engineering Officer
- Stay up to date on military, industrial, and naval classification rules that are pertinent to design work.
- Project Management Skills in Engineering Design is highly advantageous
