Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Plan out yearly calendar of events in connection with the Marina and the Club.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with Marketing and Marina to deliver strategic event plans
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and plan publicity campaigns for events through print, digital and out-of-home channels
- Produce Marina-related content and articles
- Take ownership of Club and affiliated events, and attend and lead organizing committee meetings as needed.
- Document and create project timeline, budgets, suppliers, manpower for proposals and reports
- Plan and secure manpower and logistics support to run the events
- Co-ordinate with the various Club departments to ensure smooth running of events.
- Seek sponsorship wherever possible to support the running of the events.
- Lead the delivery consistent post event reporting, to ensure impact is tracked and understood, highlight any concerns or missed opportunities
- Ensure all appropriate safety documentation and precautions are in place for all events
- Be present and visible for all events organized by the club
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders such as boat owners, industry partners, suppliers
- Assist in other duties assigned by Marketing Manager
Requirements:
- Preferably a degree holder
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Have nautical knowledge or have the will to acquire
- Excellent people management and communications skills.
- Have a positive and cheerful deposition and open to work attitude
