Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project timeline/schedule, effectively allocating resources to optimise efficiency and meet project timelines.
  • Conduct kick-off meetings and actively participating in regular progress meetings to maintain seamless communication within the project team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, adherence to budget and attainment of required quality standards.
  • Perform constant evaluation of project status, promptly addressing potential issues, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Manage contractors during installation process, ensuring adherence to strict timelines and technical specifications for optimal service delivery.
  • Diligent tracking of project costs and revenue, providing insightful analysis to inform decision making and enhance overall project financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computing Science/Engineering, Information Technology
  • PMP certification would be an added plus
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience
  • Good knowledge of cabling infrastructure, internet networks, routers and switches
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
