- Assist the Technical Superintendent in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the company's fleet
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance and repair plans for vessels
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring vessel performance and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support the Technical Superintendent in managing budgets and tracking expenditures related to vessel maintenance and repairs
- Assist in conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related field
- Certificate of Competency in Engineering will be an added advantage
- Previous experience in a marine-related role is preferred
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
