Job Description
The Head of Sales is a senior management role responsible for leading and overseeing organization's sales department.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
• Managing and mentoring a group of sales & customer service team to achieve sales targets, customer sastifaction and performances goals.
• Leading 1 on 1 pipeline monthly meetings/ monthly & quarterly performance review meetings/ annual appraisal meetings and monthly sales team meetings.
• Setting individual sales targets & measures (KPI) with the sales team including customer service.
• Guide CS-Sales support team on how to manage claims from customers.
• Recruit salespeople (hunter), set objectives, train, coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled.
SALES STRATEGY
• Produce Strategies and action plans to ensure revenue objectives and KPIs are achieved by creating and executing a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base, increases profitability, and increases the efficiency of the sales team.
• Identify target customers, pursue them and ultimately convert them into clients.
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results.
• Prepare Monthly Management Reporting.
• Overseeing the activities and opportunities (pipelines) of the sales team.
• Understand our ideal clients for the sales team and how they relate to our current products.
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
• Identify competency gaps within the team and develop a plan to improve them by providing necessary training for each sales and CS team member.
DATA MANAGEMENT
• Manage myCRM data (activities, potential, opportunity, quote, target, sales leads), CWG data (assigned Sales & CS, customer credit term, credit limit)
• Claim management from Sales team.
Requirements
• Relevant Sales Experience working in Freight Forwarding & Logistics Industry.
• A confident and prefessional communcator with ability to lead commercial negiotiations and presentations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading, managing and developing teams.
• Strong written and presentation skills, an eye for details.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Degree or equivalent
