Responsibilities:
- Transporting goods and materials to and from designated locations
- Loading and unloading goods from the lorry
- Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Adhering to safety standards and traffic laws
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 driving license with clean driving record
- Proven experience as a lorry driver or similar role
- Familiarity with local routes and roads
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
