SGH Research Office serves as a one-stop integrated centre for all research-related administrative matters. We are seeking a suitable candidate with experience in the management of research and clinical trial agreements.

As part of the Research Office, the candidate will be reporting to the Deputy Director. The Candidate will be expected to;

  • Facilitate the negotiation process with external parties on research-related agreements including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, material/data transfer agreements, project agreements, research collaborative agreements, clinical trial agreements.
  • Work with external and internal teams to draft, review and execute research-related agreements.
  • Advise and assist Principal Investigators on research-related matters and compliance to internal research-related policies and procedures.
  • Formulate and implement research agreements-related policies, processes and dashboards.
  • Supervise and train junior staff in the team on research agreement management.
  • Coordinate report collation, provide administrative support for research-related meetings and events, and other ad-hoc duties to support the Research Office functions, that may be assigned from time to time.

Job requirements

  • Degree in medical, health, science, law related areas or general degree with relevant experience.
  • At least 6 years’ experience in managing research agreements, preferably with 2 or more years in managing clinical trial agreements.
  • Experience with leading a team will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems in research related areas will be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-moving situations.
