The Sales Executive will promote the Company’s assets for rental and sales and will be accountable for the entire sales process. He/She will need to visit clients (new and old) and their project sites or new sites to canvass for business and successfully secure the order. He/She will also need to liaise with the Operations team to ensure smooth delivery of the assets to the client site. He/She will also need to follow up with their clients to ensure that invoices are paid and monies collected within a reasonable time frame.
He/She will report directly to the Sales Manager (if applicable), or directly to Managing Director and General Manager and will regularly update them on sales pipeline, discussion progress and implements activities to achieve the targets set by the Company. Our sites are typically constructions sites belonging to JTC, LTA, HDB and other private entities.
Requirements:
- Must be self driven and have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Be able to have a helicopter view and yet provide that personal rapport when meeting clients.
- Prefer those with sales background
- Those with prior heavy machinery or construction equipment sales or rental experience will have an added advantage.
- possess a valid and minimum Class 3 driving license
- Good communications and soft people skills
- be able to submit daily updates, and weekly reports to management
