Assistant Marketing Manager

SUSHISAMBA Singapore, a renowned fusion restaurant blending Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Marketing Manager to join our pre-opening team.


Job Purpose:

The Assistant Marketing Manager will assist the Director, Marketing & Communications - Asia, in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns to promote SushiSamba and other brands as the business expands. The Assistant Marketing Manager will also be required to guide the Marketing Executive.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Overseeing the planning and production of major marketing materials.
  • Involvement in promotional events hosted by the company.
  • Assisting with ideation and creation of promotional materials.
  • Handling reports and sharing research findings.
  • Maintaining client relationships and superior customer service.
  • Planning, promoting, and executing community events and local marketing initiatives.
  • Researching and implementing new local marketing methods.
  • Managing social media accounts.
  • Recording progress and compiling reports.
  • Maintaining efficient paperwork tracking systems.
  • Keeping websites updated with accurate information.
  • Creating and drafting monthly social media calendars.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Communication & Working Relationships:

  • Close collaboration with the team to ensure effective information transmission.
  • Communication of marketing activations across other departments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Business.
  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • Experience in leisure, tourism, or hospitality industries.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong social media skills and familiarity with advertising/business management.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong multitasking, planning, organizing, and project management skills.
  • Confidence, dynamism, creativity, and analytical abilities.
  • Good business awareness, including knowledge of external markets and competitors.
  • Cooperative team spirit.

Physical Requirements:

The job may require long working hours and weekend visits to venues for social media maintenance and updates.
