Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience in Java application design, development, implementation and maintenance;
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with knowledge of software design patterns, best practices, and the software development process;
- Experience in end-to-end SDLC, design, application development, operational support and maintenance;
- Proficient programming skills in Java, JavaScript, JSF, Restful Web Services;
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices using Java, Springboot;
- Proficient in use of code versioning tools, such as GIT;
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CICD) processes for efficient web deployment;
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving aptitude;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and written skill;
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience effectively;
- Independent and good team player.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge and experience with Big Data, OLAP and microservice systems;
- Familiar with system applications such as databases (Oracle/ MSSQL, Mongo DB) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Responsibilities
- Develops software solutions by studying requirements, collaborating with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes;
- Engages in software design, programming, and testing for new applications, following the software development lifecycle;
- Design and develop APIs in a micro-service based architecture;
- Provides software enhancement, improvement, and troubleshooting for existing systems;
- Collaborate with other team engineers to integrate software components, system infrastructure, and third part components;
- Ensures delivery of results meeting requirement specifications with a focus on high-quality and customer satisfaction;
- Provide pre-sales support in preparing solution proposals and product demonstrations.
