We want to fill this Systems Engineer position for IKEA Southeast Mexico based in Singapore. In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving and supporting our Business Applications operations and projects. You will be responsible for supporting systems such as Business Central, LS Retail, E-Commerce, and other systems. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our business systems, facilitating smooth operations and contributing to the success of our organization.
Your assignment
As a Systems Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to strategize, implement, and maintain scalable, stable, compliant, and cost-effective applications that facilitate business growth and support ongoing operations. Key aspects of this role include:
- Providing Level 2 support to users through the service desk
- Conducting daily maintenance tasks for the backend and job operations of ERP and CRM systems.
- Supporting audit activities related to ERP systems to ensure compliance.
- Support release management and version control processes, including planning and facilitating Users Acceptance Tests (UAT) according to predefined requirements and test cases.
- Offering support to application vendors and coordinating technical meetings with operations and business team stakeholders.
- Taking responsibility for setting up and handing over applications to business end-users in accordance with standards, guidelines, and checklists.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and training materials for application systems.
- This role requires a comprehensive approach to IT application management, combining technical expertise with effective communication and collaboration skills to ensure the seamless functioning of business systems.
