Main Accountabilities
Ø Source, negotiate and select best-in-class vendors based on various requirements
Ø Ensure compliance with Procurement processes, be the ambassador of procurement excellence
Ø Develop savings and automation based on agreed strategies with stakeholders and in line with Procurement Department methodologies.
Ø Build and leverage on solid relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications / experience required
· Bachelor’s degree
· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in procurement, within MNC owner or engineering company in petro-chemical or pharmaceutical industry, preferably based at production site.
· Ability to work in a multi-national environment.
· Highly organized and able to handle pressure and workload surge at times
· Effective in communication (oral, writing and presentation) is an absolute must in English. Additional regional languages (Malay, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil) and French are a plus.
