Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide guidance to Finance team to ensure financial reports are delivered according to Group’s financial guidelines and timelines
- Business partnering with Finance Shared Service, Operations teams and stakeholders to provide advice on financial reporting and planning activities
- Review monthly closing of accounts, financial reports, analysis for management’s decision making and ensure compliance with group’s accounting policies
- Prepare and/or review sub-groups monthly analysis, reports and presentation slides
- Manage sub-groups’ annual budgeting and ad hoc forecasting processes
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors on reporting requirements
- Support investment and divestment activities
- Perform financial simulation or scenario planning and ongoing process improvements
- Propose improvements to existing processes and procedures to increase team’s effectiveness and efficiency
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 15 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 5 years in supervisory capacity
- Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards and local tax rules
- Ability to work independently and effectively deliver under tight timelines
- Excellent team worker with strong communication, analytical, people-management and organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (such as Excel and Powerpoint) and familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller, SAP accounting software is an added advantage
