This advertisement is for ICT Training.
If successfully selected, candidate will be deployed in local MOE schools.

Contract Period: 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 (1 year).

Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7.30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazette public holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist to update, maintain the school website weekly, updating the weekly notifications, announcements and photo gallery, etc.
- Assist in Student Learning Space and ICON for Education students account (Password Reset, Unlock Accounts, Lesson, etc).
- Research on suitable Teaching and learning apps in Google Play and Apple App Store and provide recommendations to school’s ICT curriculum.
- Assist to train students in various Coding platforms, such as Scratch, OSMO, and Micro:bits etc.
- Assist the teacher-in-charge to train in coding lessons (Micro:bits, Scratch, OSMO etc.).
- Assist the teachers to provide ICT baseline training for students
- Provide guidance to students on ICT or Multimedia competitions.
- Assist in creation of lesson plans and instructional guides and train school staff in current and new ICT tools.
- Work with ICT Staff for recommendation and improvements on school’s Project Work lessons.
- Design and print graphical and aesthetics aspect of contents for school’s publication. (I.e. banners, posters, cards and magazines)
- Provide filming and edit videos for school events and functions.
- Produce videos for school needs such as event videos, interviews, presentation videos, tutorial videos, welcome videos and animation, etc.
- Assist in photo taking for school events and functions including edit photos to meet the requirement and standards of the school.
- Assist in other administrative and ad-hoc duties needed by the department or the school
- Candidate is also expected to abide by “School’s Expectations of Instructors” (Annex C).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Candidate must register with MOE, certification must remain valid as of ITQ close date.
- Candidate should have a Diploma preferably in IT, digital media, or IT-related discipline
- Have at least 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably working in a school environment.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Experience in administrative duties
- Experience in conducting Training Programs
- Experience in operating multimedia equipment
- Experience in multitasking, handling ad hoc IT and AV related requests, support and hands on troubleshooting
- Experience in hands-on in IT/AV hardware
- Experience in MS Office Suite
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro & After Effects, etc
- Experience in computer programming such as HTML, JavaScript, Python, Scratch, Micro:bit
