Job Description
- Able to monitor public tenders and private tenders in the local market.
- Able to take off quantity and costing during the tender stage.
- Able to lead QS during the tender stage, construction stage, and handing over project stage.
- Assist management in overall planning and strategy, as well as project risk management.
- Able to prepare and control project budgeting.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate between vendors, sub-contractors, and manufacturers.
- Attend project kick-off meetings, site meetings & client-consultant meetings.
- Monitor all contractual records with clients and vendors to be compliant to protect the company's interest at all times. Able to handle disputes with clients or vendors, if any, based on the type of contract signed.
- Prepare pre and post-budget, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentation, and final accounts.
- Ensure every progress claim, certifications, and invoice to clients are issued on a timely basis
- Oversee and manage the operation of the Contract team by ensuring the Company’s contractual obligations and requirements are met and fulfilled in any undertaken project.
- Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Preferably 5 years of relevant working experience in handling of Contractual Terms & Conditions in the Construction Industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and clients.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure with high initiative.
