Duties & Responsibilites:-
• Ensure that ships comply with statutory and classification society requirements.
• Update Master and Shipboard on new rules and regulations relevant to ship trading.
• Enforce the company’s policy on the safe and efficient management of the vessel including environmental protection and corrective action to be taken.
• Ensure safe and proper management of cargo operation and documentation.
• Keep stocks, inventories of spares and stores of vessels and ensure they are sufficient for efficient operation and maintenance of the vessel’s hull, structure, cargo, hold, tanks and fittings.
• Coordinator and communication between ships and shore.
• Training of crew onboard and to conduct shipboard safety drills and exercises.
• Crew rest hours and management of crew welfare.
Requirement:-
• Hold at least a Class III Certificate of Competency or higher.
• Experience in Bunker Tanker.
• Familiar with Singapore Port Limit waterways and special limits trading.
• Knowledge of Singapore Port Regulations, Harbour Craft Licensing and MOM regulations and International Conventions.
• Team player with spoken and written English.
• Saefarer certificates as required by MPA.
• Prepared to work on weekends, public holidays, after office hours and as expected for the nature of the Maritime Industry.
