Job Description
- Utilize engineering principles to optimize the wastewater treatment processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement improvements to enhance overall plant performance and reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor and analyze data from various treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment malfunctions or process inefficiencies.Stay informed about environmental regulations and standards related to wastewater treatment.
- Ensure that the wastewater treatment plant operates within compliance guidelines and participate in regulatory inspections.
- Conduct chemical analysis of wastewater samples to determine the concentration of pollutants and identify the appropriate treatment methods.
- Perform routine testing to assess the effectiveness of treatment processes.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment such as pumps, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
- Identify and address issues to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of process parameters, chemical usage, and treatment performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team to completion of a task
- Min 2 years of experience related to water treatment plant
- Able to work independently and/or with a team
