Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for financial governance around the project costs and expenses controls.
2. Track costs against budget and produce Monthly cost monitoring and spending reports required by the Management.
3. Coordinate operation and financial program, actions and timeline with different project departments.
4. Ensure compliance to Accounting Standards and Company Internal policies and practices.
5. Be able to communicate with our colleagues in China in Chinese as some of our Chinese colleagues do not speak English. Also, the accounting software is in Chinese language for our China office.
6. Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
Job Requirements
1. Minimum 2 years of working experience in the area of accounting, preferable have experience in the area of engineering, shipbuilding, marine & offshore and oil & gas, offshore new energy industry.
2. Experience working in multinational companies is added advantages.
3. Degree in Finance and/ or Accounting – preferably cost Accounting or ACCA qualification.
4. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
5. Preferably, be able to communicate with our colleagues in China in Chinese as some of our Chinese colleagues do not speak English. Also, the accounting software is in Chinese language for our China office.
6. Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
7. Strong sense of responsibility, good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
8. Able to travel domestic or international if required by work, i.e. SEA, China, Europe etc.
