Jobs Description
- To lead the Sales & Marketing Team in Singapore and to execute sales initiatives in accordance to head office sales strategy.
- Create and drive sales revenue for local markets as well as overseas’ export markets (ASEAN, middle east, Oceania regions, etc.
- Develop new overseas’ markets, expand and strengthen Meiji foot hold on existing markets
- Create an annual sales plan and budget for Singapore and the various overseas’ markets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of all sales functions for both local and overseas’ markets.
- Occasional travel to overseas’ markets to understand customers’ behaviours, trend, brand awareness and discussion with the distribution agents in these markets to implement appropriate sales and marketing support and budget planning.
- Communicate sales and marketing status regularly to Japan HQ
- Attend regular sales meeting with Japan HQ (either physically or via web meeting)
- Actively work with HQ international Sales Dept, local sales team, local Marketing team, R&D team and production team to develop new products, new products packaging and marketing campaigns
- Liaise closely with Japan Sales team in fulfilling Japan sales orders and shipment date
Requirements
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in a FMCG and confectionery business environment
- Sales management background
- Degree holder or higher
- Able to speak, read and write Japanese as the role requires frequent communicating and reporting to Japan HQ
- Sales forecasting
- Knowledge of FMCG or confectionery Marketing.
