We are representing a European energy MNC to recruit for a newly created position as an Oil Trading Analyst.
This role plays a crucial part in contributing to trading strategies and identifying commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities include working closely with the regional and global commercial and analytics teams to:
- Perform fundamental and pricing analysis
- Collect and analyze market demand and supply data, cargo flows, and pricing information
- Design and maintain supply and demand model to forecast market balance and analyze the impact on flows on the commodities market
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a financial or mathematical discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in the oil and energy market, experience in light distillates (naphtha or LPG) or chemicals would be advantageous
- Must be highly proficient in using programming languages Python and SQL
