Retail Assistant Manager Responsibilities
· Develop and implement marketing strategies, identify and evaluate business opportunities and foster strong customer relationships.
· Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
· Ensure comprehensive brand and product training throughout the distribution network.
· Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments.
· Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
· Manage and support distribution channels in fulfilling sales objectives and achieving the best market coverage.
· Preparation of reports including monthly performance, quarterly and yearly business reviews
· Manage staff and assign duties, plan budgets and authorize expenditures, resolve customer complaints.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Company
· Assisting the Manager with operational issues.
· Scheduling meetings and team building sessions as required.
· Promptly answering the questions of staff and other stakeholders.
· Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors.
· Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
· Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes.
· Taking inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
· Updating logs and order forms.
· Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager.
· Provide prompt and helpful customer service
· Prepare shop opening and closing
· Monitor sales orders and supplier relations
· Compile salesreports
· Receiving and check orders when stocks goodsarrive
· Responsible for stacking displaying and replenish of goods
· Monitor products expiry dates and shelf lives of goods

Requirements:
Minimum Bachelors degree required.
Minimum 2 or more years' field and retail experience.
Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
Excellent retail management and supervision skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
