Job Description
- Assures Product quality, production processes, documents maintenance, production environment complied to our strict HQ standards and local government requirements.
- Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure conformity with HQ specifications, government and industry standards.
- Oversees the workplace health and safety issues of the company.
- Negotiate with suppliers on raw materials as well as packaging materials procurement.
- Responsible for company’s Production performance as well as Product Quality.
- Investigate customers’ complaints on quality issues with the local Production and QC team.
- Investment considerations and budgeting for improving working environment, quality and production efficiency.
- Management of repair correspondence for manufacturing machineries and plant facilities.
Requirements
- At least 5-8 years experience in production management in a food manufacturing industry preferably in a Management role
- Degree holder or higher
- Good knowledge of biscuits manufacturing processes and chocolates making processes.
- Good knowledge of FSSC & ISO standards
- Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards.
- Able to speak, read and write Japanese as the role requires frequent communicating and reporting to Japan HQ
