We are looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our team! In the Shared Service team, A Human Resource Assistant is expected to be a professional who is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. You will assist with recruitment and record maintenance for payroll processing as well as provide clerical support to all employees under the group of companies.
Candidates are tasked to handle the day-to-day HR activities of the company and provide administrative support to the HR Department. Success in this role will be demonstrated by helping the organization maintain an adequate number of skilled employees or workers to meet productivity objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the HR functions including but not limited to:-
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Monitor attendance, calculate the OT and verify reported hours.
- Manage job posting and candidate sourcing.
- Handle Work Pass application, renewal, cancellation, and other related matters.
- Worker’s payroll processing.
- Maintain and timely renew worker's insurances (FWMI & WICA), and security bonds.
- Liaising with dormitory, vendor, and related parties.
- Coordinate with all departments on hiring plans, resignations, confirmation, and all HR-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping and confidentiality standards.
- Facilitate effective internal communication through regular updates and announcements.
Other Duties:-
- Assist in the coordination of office administration
- Sorting of incoming mail on a daily basis
- Cover reception duties from time to time
- Undertake other assignments from time to time
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resource, Business or other relevant
- Minimum 1 year of related working experience in HR duties.
