1. Job Description
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries
- Ensure POS system is turned on and functioning properly
- Refill receipt paper if necessary
- Take count of any money in the register
- Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors
- Position chairs neatly around tables
- Stock necessary areas with clean glassware and silverware
- Reference reservations list and be aware of any special requests or other notes regarding the upcoming service
- Properly set tables and maintain silverware
- Ensure restaurant is fully stocked with supplies such as cutlery, glasses and condiments
- Ensure floors are clean and well mopped
- Take out the trash if necessary to ensure restaurant is clean for next shift
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
