The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. The HR Manager plays a crucial role in supporting organizational goals and ensuring a productive and harmonious workplace.

Job Description

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.

Employee Relations:

  • Manage employee relations issues, addressing concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement and development plans.
  • Conduct training sessions on performance management best practices.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Educate employees about benefits and address inquiries.

Compliance:

  • Stay current with labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Facilitate training sessions on various HR topics.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree and HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) are often preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR professional, with specific experience in HR management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Able to converse and write in Mandarin, to liaise with Mandarin Speaking internal stakeholders in China.
