Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) include:
Strategic Initiatives:
- Support Head of Senior Service to develop and implement strategic plans that are aligned with the vision, mission and core values of REACH.
- Contribute to the long-term planning and growth of REACH Senior Service.
Corporate Governance:
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards set by MOH, relevant regulatory agencies, REACH’s internal governance processes.
- Ensure that the centers meet MOH, AIC, and NEA standards and audit requirements.
- Support the Head of Senior Service in providing up-to-date accounts and performance reports to stakeholders.
Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all Senior Active Ageing Centers and Senior Care Centers.
- Develop and maintain a network of relationships and partnerships with relevant government agencies, community organizations, and other community stakeholders.
Resource Management:
- Support the Head of Senior Service in implementing proper financial controls and accounting procedures, including asset management.
- Monitor various financial workflow and processes to ensure compliance and accountability.
Organization and Capabilities Development:
- Propose and initiate plans to grow the work of REACH Senior & Auxiliary Services.
- Ensure that all services and programs have clear objectives, output, and outcome targets.
- Evaluate and improve service quality and professional standards on a regular basis.
Staff and Volunteer Supervision and Development / Collaboration:
- Work with the Head of Senior Service to maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments within REACH.
- Engage and partner closely with Corporate Services on matters related to infrastructure, financial procedures, staff recruitment, and corporate communication.
- Work closely with Volunteer Management Manager in Community Engagement Team to propose and review training and development paths for volunteers.
- Plan staff retreats, team building and team bonding events.
- Support Head of Senior Service in staff appraisal meetings.
Others:
- Represent REACH Senior Service at various government agencies including but limited to MOH, AIC, Regional Healthcare System, and community stakeholders/partners networking meetings.
- From time to time, to undertake any other special project and roles and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Senior Service and the Chief Executive Officer.
Qualifications:
· Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
· At least 5 years in similar capacity with proven experience in Senior Service, Healthcare Management, or related fields.
· Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
· Excellent leadership and management abilities
· Good understanding of financial management, workflow, and operational processes.
· Strong networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
