EMCC is looking for an outstanding professional to join its Counselling team.
The position reports to the Head of Counselling. You will be part of a team to provide clinical interventions to individuals, couples, and families on a range of presenting issues such as anxiety, chronic stress, depression, and marital conflict. You will also work with the team to develop training content and conduct talks to promote good mental wellness.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Candidate Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
- Master’s degree in counselling or counselling psychology.
- SAC registered with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
Core Competencies:
- Certification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy or Systemic Therapy.
- Experience in conducting talks and workshops.
- Experience in counselling with all age groups (children & youth, adults, and elderly).
- Experience in facilitating psycho-ed and therapy groups.
- Excellent proven track record of helping clients to achieve their psychological well-being goals.
- Passionate about advocating the importance of mental health.
- A good team player.
Preferred Achievements/Characteristics:
It would be advantageous if the applicant has:
- Certification in EMDR (or other Trauma related interventions)
- Experience working with different nationalities and cultures.
