We are now looking for a Service Engineer to strengthen the Field Service Resource team in Singapore. This position requires travelling to locations in and around South East Asia – approximately 50- 100 travel days a year.
This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.
What will you be doing as Service Engineer? Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
- Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.
- Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
- Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
- Create the Service Work Reports.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to QSHE guidelines and site procedures and policies
- Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customer and/or internal stakeholders.
- Continuously seek for solutions in according to best practices.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Mechanical knowledge in propulsion equipment
- Self-motivated, analytical & fault-finding skills
- Mature, hardworking, have good anticipation with a problem-solving attitude
- A team player with a positive mindset & ability to adapt / work in a challenging environment
- Good written & communication skill
- Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2 year working experience in related field
