Purpose of the Role:
The Electro-Mechanical Site Supervisor will assist with building and commissioning of Amadeus products and in-house prototype products (Auto Bag Drop, Kiosk, Biometrics). The work locations will vary depending on project-specific requirements from Singapore to sites around the globe. Initially under the tutelage of experienced installers, eventually graduating to Site supervisor.
Responsible for managing or performing Complex onsite Hardware deployments and integration for the organization. Overall responsibility for Providing technical expertise skills on site to Supervise and train teams to install ICM electro-mechanical products. Auto Bag Drops, KIOSK, E-Gates and other for customer funded projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Site management: Act as a Site Supervisor in charge of Building Hardware systems on-site and integrating solutions for Amadeus clients
- Supervise contracted installation staff.
- Integrate self-bag drops onto baggage handling systems
- Liaise with client, sub-contractor and 3rd-party inspectors to discuss technical issues.
- Plan and approve plans for, installations and their timelines.
- Site setup planning, Maintaining Safe Working Practices onsite
- Subject matter expertise on How to Install and commission Amadeus Self Service Products and Services. Interpreting electrical and mechanical designs. Developing installation methods and documents for new products.
- Build and review Hardware Prototypes and interpret AutoCAD drawings
- Training: Responsible for delivering Training to Staff and subcontractors on projects to ensure services are delivered to the right quality.
- Develop installation methods and documents for new products.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain Quality Assurance across all products deployed onsite
- Streamlining manufacturing processes by providing valuable feedback into the Manufacturing process in order to maintain continuous improvement.
- Preparation of weekly progress report and daily photograph on site status
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Electro-mechanical field
- Proactive, positive attitude, keen to learn.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Good time management and committed to work within tight timeline.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS-office
- Hands on experience in handling electrical issues
- Industrial automation & understanding and updating electrical wiring diagram.
- Able to provide Site Supervision and technical support as Subject matter expert (SME).
- Experienced in carrying out system testing with commissioning team
- Frequent travel to international and domestic locations is required.
- Initial On-Job-Training will be provided to familiarize with Amadeus Self Service products
