Job Summary
The Manager, Account Operations will be responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with customers. Provide dedicated product or commodity support to UCT manufacturing sites and customer. This position requires a versatile and driven individual with broad business acumen and excellent verbal/written communication skills. Manage projects/orders using customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate and adept with cross-cultural business relationships and flexible hours dictated by international business. Manage progress measurement activities for specific projects to completion both on time and within tolerable risk levels to both UCT and customer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Works closely with CBO team and attend regular production meetings to manage customer expectations and escalations.
- Lead and participate in cross functional teams to identify delivery risk to customer
- Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies, and coordinate root cause corrective actions
- Lead and participate in projects to resolve problems or to support continuous process improvement
- Develop timely reports and key performance indicators to identify/monitor material delivery challenges
- Ability to analyze and utilize data in decision making, achievement of business objectives, and driving best quality solutions, practices and policies. Ability to work on a large set of issues and projects at the same time
- Escalate gaps and unattended risks and issues until resolved
- Responsible for defining, developing, and commercializing new projects (customers / applications) within the segment / application strategy, the ambition of the product line and focal points within segment and application.
- Responsible for leveraging and coordinating efforts for his/her projects at the account level.
- Responsible for positioning new value propositions at his/her target accounts for commercial development and for communicating value propositions to the market.
- Develop relationship map of key organizations in the value chain, increasing coverage/ networks within the accounts’ organizations focusing on engineering, technology, id and sales.
- Responsible for providing sales forecasting monthly or as required
- Communicate via written and verbal reports weekly and monthly on progress and issues at Account with recommendations as to next steps needed at the account.

Educational/Certification Requirement
- BS in Business, engineering or equivalent
- MBA preferred
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in the field of sales, account management and/or business development.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Ability & willingness to work at all levels of the organization to get the job done.
- Analytical, with good judgment, business sense, and problem solving skills.
- A strong negotiator who is able to identify customer’s needs and persuasive in presenting ideas.
- A team player, able to work interdependently
Business Travel
- Willing and able to travel Internationally to support customer meetings, training and internal meetings, as required
