Job Description
- Leads, or contributes to, the design and execution of end-to-end supply chain solutions and strategy including planning, material information and financial flows, manufacturing and logistics.
- Leads or participates in multi-function supply chain projects with an emphasis on project planning, supply chain modeling/analysis and optimization of cost, service and inventory.
- Participates in the design, development and implementation of end-to-end supply chain designs, strategies, models, processes, business intelligence and tools to support business growth.
- Identifies gaps and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
- Works in conjunction with Information Technology partners to ensure the system framework addresses business requirements.
- Implements, tests, troubleshoots and improves business systems to increase manufacturing quality, efficiency and volume.
- Identify opportunities or recommendations for a 2nd source to maximize competitive costs or availability & flexibility
- Collaborate with Commodity Management to implement sourcing strategy to reduce lead time, cost, and supply chain risk
- Support procurement organization to drive engagement with suppliers and track progress relative to Scope 3 commitments which aligns to Agilent Net Zero goals
- Work across the organization to identify procurement processes continuous improvement opportunity and help develop framework and drive results based on deliverables
- Executing on impactful projects that will deliver to greater efficiency within the procurement organization and strengthen our relationship with our supplier base (Eg. Supplier lifecycle management)
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, value chain and logistics optimization to reduce landed product cost
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams with the goal to deliver value to the company, customers and organization
- Develop comprehensive supply chain analysis including suppliers, lead time, availability, and commodity risk factors using available technology and tools driving a digitalized procurement mindset across the organization
- Opportunity to be part of the team at the OFS global level, working across teams and functions to deliver strategic project goals such as identifying future procurement skillsets and requirements, developing plans on increasing organizational procurement skillsets and capabilities
- Ad-hoc projects as required by the organization based on priorities and urgency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent practical experience MBA or Master's degree in Engineering and Operations with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience working cross functional teams, driving results by leadership and effective communication
- Experience in supplier management and engagement to drive sustainability impact for the organization especially in Scope 3
- Track record and success in supply chain optimization projects, including supplier route optimization, sourcing optimization of parts and materials for procurement
- Experience in using project management tools to manage projects such as Smartsheet
- Experience in using PDM tools such as Agile and supply management tools such as Ariba
- Experience in executing supplier lifecycle management projects to deliver greater efficiency in improving communications, tools, and processes in managing supplier base
- Experience in executing supplier compliance management projects
