Key Technical Requirements:
- Write and maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for software applications and operating systems.
- Must have over 10+ years IT professional experience.
- Should have at least 4-5 years banking or financial services experience in a large enterprise.
- Must have over 10+ years Teradata experience, preferably into banking or financial services is mandatory
- Experience with Teradata, Teradata FSLDM, Banking domain is a must.
- In depth knowledge and experience of technology stack at global banks/financial services is mandatory.
Database:
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in Teradata databases.
- Should have 5+ years experience with Capacity Management, patching, TASM,BAR, Batch performance tuning and Datamover. It will be good to have experience in working with No SQL as well as virtualized Database Environment.
Performance Tuning:
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in Batch performance tuning and Query performance tuning for at least 3+ years .
Datamodeling:
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in FSLDM and Finance industry working experience for at least 2+ years.
Security:
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in implementing Fine Grain Access control using Teradata Roles (RBAC) is required
BI Tools:
- Should have experience in integrating BI tools with Teradata Database SSO integration with Active Directory Authentication is mandatory
Automation & Monitoring:
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in scripting using (Shell script, awk programming, quick automation to integrating any third party tools), BMC monitoring tools,Viewpoint Alert setup. Should have experience in automating day-to-day DBA activities using stored procedures or shell scripts.
Teradata Architecture:
- Should have in depth knowledge of Teradata Architecture, AWT, AMP monitoring, Compression and other performance tuning aspects -
Data Modeling:
- Good understanding and knowledge in Data Modeling area using industry standard data model (FSLDM) Testing.
Mandatory:
- Must have recent experience in Managing big TD clusters. Hands on experience with TD upgrade and migration for at least 4+ years.
